Yeah, I agree with you about the fact that people would search the internet/browse a forum or to try on reading user guide or search the help. Thanks for this superb post slots machine games.

Carol, thanks very much for your kind words and tweet about the LugIron blog. I'm glad you found it useful enough to share. This is a very fun time to be innovating in the technical communications industry and I hope we'll be able to make a positive impact on the evolution of user education. We'll see!

I love the way you expressed the future of tech writing in The Modern Technical Writer. This job is changing so fast, and being able to articulate this value may help with new job creation.
I am viewing these changes as a long time "placer" of technical writers. I am happy to share these posts with my community and point them to this blog. Thank you!

The article was an eye opener for me. Us Indian tech Writiers still pine for the conventional and, might I say, boring methods of documentation. I agree with the fact that people would rather search over the internet, or browse through a forum than to try going through a user guide or search the help section. As the industry and the need for documentation is still at the nascent stages out here, this may take some time to catch up but it will. thanks for the heads up!

Hey, thanks for the link and quote! I dashed off that blog entry after reading the Duo blog entry I link to, and once I read the article about the WashPost and HuffPost faceoff I had to draw some parallels to our industry.

I work with Shannon and he's so very excited about Google Wave. His write-up is great.. I have yet to get all the way through the video from Google, but I do like Read Write Web's write up (http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/google_wav...) and TechCrunch's article at http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/05/28/google-wav.... I guess I just read first and watch video second. :)
